A Plea On Behalf Of The Brothers & Sisters

Stand up AGAINST the 'War On Terror'

Please in this blessed last few days of Ramdan and thereafter, do not forget the brothers and sisters that are oppressed (many of which without reason).

There are so many ways in which you can help; it is not always about money and donating as not everyone has the means to do so but even if you write a letter to the detainees/send an Eid card or even just to tell another person be it Muslim or not about the plight of the brothers in general or even if it is one specific brother which you know about.

Raising awareness of illegal detention, secret evidence, secret courts, torture... brothers and sisters there is so much we can do, if we just stop talking and being afraid (we are doing nothing wrong) and whatever is meant to be will be as everything is due to the qadr of Allah(swt) and the only thing which an effect that is dua so please if nothing else, remember these brothers and their families in your pious and thought felt supplications.

The most important thing to remember is that the 'war on terror' could effect any one of us at any given time and would we not want the help and support of others at such a difficult time?

Please do not let it come to the point that it is your loved one before you start donating to Cageprisoners (to help locate the 1000's 'missing'), Hhugs (to help the families who have lost breadwinners), writing to your MP, signing a petition, going to a demonstration, having your voice heard and just generally raising awareness of the plight of our oppressed brothers and sisters in the ummah.

Please neither take offence to what nor feel i am persecuting anyone because all that i have said, truly does apply to myself just as much to as it does to the next person. As an ummah, we really are not doing enough.

Inshallah, let us begin raising awareness here and now by forwarding articles from the this blog and other websites on to everyone on your mailing list.

Jazakallah khair for all your time and Inshallah, today can be the day we all start to raise awareness regarding the plight of our brothers and sisters. Ameen.

Jazakallah khair (thank you). Ramadan and Eid Mubarak to you!

Regarding your comment: We are not in a position to judge, we do not know what an individual has or has not done.

Yes i am sure some people are in the wrong and if so they should face the consequences for their actions but if all of the brothers were a 'threat', should they not have trials? would there not be evidence? is it fear to have a secret trial with secret evidence?

Do you really think that it is justified for someone to be put on a rendition flight (with their loved ones in the dark to their whereabouts) and sent to a country to be tortured and held in inhumane conditions for years at a time?

Brothers are detained like animals in cells so small that they can neithers stand up nor lie down and are crunched. If given meals they are not enough for evn a child to live on and are only taken out of their 'cages' to be interrogated and tortured.

How would you feel if you were blindfolded and taken on a plane only to wake up to a cell with cockroaches and rats and beaten and burnt to the extent that you wish to end your life?

Everyone has the right to hold their own opinion but please take some time out to read the articles on the blog, visit: www.cageprisoners.com and think about what i have said and let us know whether you still feel the same.

Brothers and sisters, do not forget that every single individual has a right to having their basic human rights intact and the right to a fair trial.
