Insha'allah, in Balham Library tomorrow!
Dear Friends,
Shaker Aamer is a resident in Martin Linton MP's constituency. Martin Linton has a surgery in Balham library this coming Saturday. Some Wandsworth tWC members who are his constituents will go to the surgery to persuade ML to do something about getting Shaker Aamer (and indeed others), out of Guantanamo. Wandsworth StWC will have a presence in Balham High Road too.
Usually we run 4 different stalls throughout the Borough but we are all coming together on his occasion. The stalls will be outside Sainsburys and Waitrose and outside the Library too. There will be a cage and some of us will be in orange jumpsuits. Cageprisoner leaflets will be handed out as will letters to Gordon Brown and Martin Linton for people to sign and post.
We have invited the local press/photographer.
